How do you handle the time-zone difference with a US team?

We plan around it rather than fight it. India is 9.5 to 12.5 hours ahead of the US, so our default for ongoing work is a dedicated monthly developer running an async-first workflow: written daily check-ins, shared boards, and clear handoffs so progress continues overnight.
